Applications are reviewed and funds are awarded twice each school year: - Applications received by October 31 are reviewed in November, and awards are announced in December - Applications received by March 31 are reviewed in April, and awards are announced in May at the End of Year Breakfast

Photo: In 2012, the Education Foundation secured a sponsorship from BP for microscopes The Adopt-A-Grant Underwriter Program is designed as an addition to the Education Foundation's Grants for Great Ideas classroom grant program. The Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation works tirelessly on behalf of SFISD to gather funds from businesses and the community in order to grant campuses with money for education programs that benefit our students. Due to the recent state budgeting issues, the Foundation felt it necessary to create a second category of grants to address campus supply and technology needs. Adopt-A-Grant submissions will be posted online and promoted by the Foundation. Individuals, groups or businesses from the community may choose to "adopt" and fund your request.
