	Thank you State Farm!

State Farm has awarded a $10,000 Good Neighbor Citizenship Grant to Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation for a special SFISD project entitled: "Learning to Flip: Transforming the Classroom-Homework Model." This unique program will benefit students at every campus. The lessons will be designed so that students watch video lectures at home for homwork, which allows for more advanced discussion and labs in the classroom.

Recent Funded Projects include: - 7th graders learned anatomy by dissecting frogs and visting the Houston Health Museum - Fine Arts Projects - Literacy Stations - SFJH Library audiobooks and reading incentive software - Flip video cameras for student projects - Music supplies and fieldtrips - Triple Beam Balances and Microscopes for science classrooms - Ipads, EClickers, headphones and other technology

	Donating to the Education Foundation

- We welcome contributions of all amounts. If you would like to donate, you can do so through our link to Paypal or by mail using the Pledge of Support Form below.

- Giving a donation in memory or honor of a special person is a touching way to recognize a close friend and/or connect with his/her family to let them know you are thinking of them. You can make a Memorial/Honorarium using the specified form below.

- Contact the Foundation for other giving opportunities such as: establishing a scholarship fund, in-kind products or services, and planned giving.

- SFISD employees may contribute to the Foundation through automatic payroll deduction. Just a few dollars a month goes a long way to funding classroom grants. Please complete the form attached below.
